We are partnering with a highly successful Ag business looking to hire an Assistant Feed Mill Manager. This is a key leadership role designed for someone ready to step into full mill management in the near future. Key Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily feed mill operations, including production, inventory, and logistics
Support supervision of mill staff, scheduling, and team development
Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and operational efficiency
Coordinate grain receiving, storage, and feed manufacturing processes
Monitor equipment performance and assist with maintenance planning
Work closely with leadership on process improvements and cost management
Help drive a strong safety culture and maintain regulatory compliance
Qualifications
Prior experience in feed mill operations, grain handling, or related agriculture field
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mill equipment
Knowledge of feed production, inventory management, and safety standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Strong communication and team leadership skills
