REMOTE SALES REP/FREIGHT BROKER

As a Remote Sales Representative you will focus on expanding our client’s current customer base.  You will also have the opportunity to service those customers’ ever-growing transportation needs.  Being team-centric yet individually driven will be essential to your continued success.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails
  • Understand customer needs/requirements and provide them with top notch transportation solutions
  • Grow and develop accounts to their highest potential through strong customer relationships and referrals
  • Partner with operations leaders to ensure your customers are provided with outstanding service
  • Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments within the logistics industry

Requirements:

  • A winning attitude and determination to succeed
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for our customers
  • Strong negotiation skills – persuasiveness, aggressiveness, confidence
  • Self-driven with a desire to succeed
  • Ability to think creatively to find solutions
  • Prior sales, operations or customer service experience preferred
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Modern Office Technology

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plus
