Personal Injury & Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney

A well-established Illinois plaintiff-side law firm focused exclusively on personal injury and workers’ compensation is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering results and providing client-focused advocacy.

Practice Focus

• Personal Injury (auto accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death)
• Workers’ Compensation claims
• Exposure to complex injury matters including medical malpractice and serious accident cases

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury and/or workers’ compensation matters
• Conduct client intake and maintain ongoing client communication
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers
• Prepare cases for trial as needed

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing in Illinois
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in personal injury and/or workers’ compensation
• Strong litigation, writing, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage cases independently
• Client-focused mindset with strong communication skills
