Maintenance Supervisor – Food Manufacturing

Relocation Assistance available

Salary: $85,000 – $115,000
Schedule: Full-Time | On-site

A confidential and growing Midwest-based food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled maintenance team and support high-speed food production operations. Strong hands-on Multivac experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and support maintenance technicians across multiple production lines.

  • Lead preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and urgent repair response.

  • Ensure rapid, effective resolution of downtime to maintain production efficiency.

  • Support GMP, food safety, HACCP, and OSHA compliance across all maintenance activities.

  • Collaborate with Operations, QA, and Safety to meet production goals and improve reliability.

  • Maintain accurate work orders, documentation, and equipment records.

  • Participate in continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and reliability initiatives.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing (protein, dairy, bakery, beverage, RTE, etc.).

  • 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience.

  • Expert-level Multivac experience REQUIRED (tray sealers, thermoformers, vacuum packaging).

  • Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills (pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, packaging lines).

  • Strong understanding of GMP, SSOPs, HACCP, and food safety compliance.

  • Ability to lead, develop, and motivate a maintenance team.
