Position Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of litigation including investigation, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, attending court hearings, and managing trial preparation

  • Provide legal analysis and guidance on complex legal matters

  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective litigation strategies

  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations

  • Stay current on industry developments, legal updates, and relevant case law

Essential Job Functions:

  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents

  • Prepare and respond to discovery, including document production and interrogatories

  • Attend depositions, hearings, and related proceedings

  • Work collaboratively with clients, expert witnesses, and legal team members on case preparation

  • Present oral arguments and advocate for client interests in court

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of civil litigation experience

  • Active Oregon Bar license required

  • Strong understanding of legal concepts, procedures, and practices

  • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

  • Effective communicator with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
