We’re seeking a motivated Grain Originator to join a well-established and growing agricultural organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a passion for agriculture, and a drive to build long-term relationships with local producers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with grain producers in the region
Procure grain through direct farm marketing and offer competitive solutions to meet grower needs
Monitor grain markets and provide timely market insight to customers
Coordinate with logistics and merchandising teams to ensure timely delivery and quality service
Support strategic planning and customer retention initiatives
Qualifications:
1–2+ years of experience in grain origination, merchandising, ag sales, or ag-related field
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field preferred
Solid understanding of grain markets and producer needs
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills
Self-starter with the ability to manage territory independently
