Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney – Hybrid | Portland, OR
GPAC has partnered with a respected regional firm that is actively seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their Commercial Litigation team. This is a hybrid role offering excellent flexibility, a collegial environment, and low billable hour requirements—ideal for attorneys seeking meaningful work-life balance while continuing to grow in complex litigation.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies
Draft and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Assist in trial preparation including witness preparation, exhibits, and discovery coordination
Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy and provide legal counsel
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with both the Oregon and Washington Bars
3–8 years of litigation experience, with an emphasis on commercial litigation preferred
Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to manage complex legal issues
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management systems
Knowledge of commercial litigation procedures and principles
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
