Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney – Hybrid | Portland, OR

GPAC has partnered with a respected regional firm that is actively seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their Commercial Litigation team. This is a hybrid role offering excellent flexibility, a collegial environment, and low billable hour requirements—ideal for attorneys seeking meaningful work-life balance while continuing to grow in complex litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies

  • Draft and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents

  • Assist in trial preparation including witness preparation, exhibits, and discovery coordination

  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy and provide legal counsel

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Licensed and in good standing with both the Oregon and Washington Bars

  • 3–8 years of litigation experience, with an emphasis on commercial litigation preferred

  • Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to manage complex legal issues

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management systems
