Location: Within 1 hour of Fort Wayne, IN | Full-Time | On-Site Salary Range: $75,000 – $105,000 (based on experience, licensure, and qualifications)

This is more than a job—this is a rare opportunity to join a proven leader in site design and construction with over three decades of success and growth. Our client is Northeast Indiana’s only true design-build site contractor, offering end-to-end services that take projects from field to finish. They’ve been building their legacy for 30+ years—and now it’s your chance to help shape what comes next.

They’re actively seeking a Civil Design Engineer who brings strong site design experience and the character to match their high standards. Whether you’re a licensed professional or still early in your career with solid technical skills, this firm is ready to invest in your growth.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out:

  • Join a company that both designs and builds—no hand-offs, no silos. You’ll see the impact of your work on real sites every day.

  • Work in a collaborative, supportive environment with less than 50 employees and a strong emphasis on integrity, mentorship, and quality.

  • Step into a role that’s still open after a year—not because they haven’t looked, but because they’re holding out for the right fit. This could be you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and draft site development plans including layout, grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management, and more

  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure high-quality, efficient project delivery

  • Contribute to permitting, land disturbance compliance, and regulatory coordination

  • Support the company’s mission of delivering complete, in-house design-build solutions

Qualifications:

  • F.E. or P.E. license preferred (but not required for the right person)

  • Approximately 6 years of civil site design experience is ideal

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office

  • Strong understanding of commercial and residential site development, including grading, storm sewer, and utility design

  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment

  • High level of personal character, responsibility, and a willingness to learn and grow

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $75,000 – $105,000, based on experience and qualifications

  • Incentive-based profit sharing

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Health, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance

  • Paid time off and holidays

  • Tuition reimbursement and continuing education opportunities

  • On-the-job training for field experience

This is your chance to align your career with a company that’s built on experience, committed to quality, and ready to grow with you.
