OCEAN IMPORTS MANAGER/GLOBAL LOGISTICS

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to fill a pivotal leadership role in import operations. This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of customs brokerage, freight forwarding, regulatory compliance, and team management within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in logistics and customs brokerage with direct involvement in import processes
• At least 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience leading teams of five or more
• In-depth knowledge of customs clearance procedures and entry filing protocols
• Familiarity with current tariff regulations, including those under IEEPA and related trade policies
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding logistics encompassing ocean shipments (containerized and non-containerized), oversized cargo, breakbulk, trucking, and FCL/LCL shipments
• Ability to interpret and apply complex trade compliance regulations effectively
• Proficiency in managing operational challenges related to billing, documentation accuracy, and dispute resolution
• Experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders including customers, carriers, customs officials, and internal departments
• Skilled at monitoring industry trends and regulatory changes to inform operational adjustments
• Capable of overseeing customer account setups, ACH payments, and invoice follow-ups
