The Opportunity

We are representing a prestigious, trial-heavy defense firm in Boise, Idaho, seeking a talented Mid-Level Associate to join their ranks. This firm has built a formidable reputation for defending healthcare systems and medical professionals throughout Idaho. 

This is an exceptional opportunity for a litigator who wants to be in the courtroom rather than just behind a desk. You will join a collaborative, fast-paced environment where mentorship from top-tier trial attorneys is a priority, and the work is both intellectually challenging and high-stakes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Healthcare Advocacy: Defend medical professionals, hospitals, and healthcare systems in complex malpractice and liability litigation.

  • Diverse Defense Portfolio: Manage an active and varied caseload that includes commercial litigation, product liability, and trucking/transportation defense.

  • Sophisticated Motion Practice: Conduct in-depth legal research and draft high-level, persuasive briefs for complex defense matters.

  • Trial Collaboration: Work closely with senior partners and a team of trial-ready attorneys to develop and execute defense strategies from inception through verdict.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in civil defense litigation. Prior experience in medical malpractice or professional liability is highly preferred but not required.

  • Bar Admission: Active member in good standing of the Idaho State Bar (or ability to become licensed via reciprocity).

  • Skills: Must possess elite legal research and writing abilities, a strong attention to detail, and a "team-player" mentality.

  • Ambition: A self-starter who is motivated to take on increasing responsibility and is comfortable in a fast-paced trial environment.
