Manufacturing Safety Coordinator
Background Requirements
- Posses one or both MSHA Part 48B and OSHA 1926 instructors’ cards or being able and willing to work to learn the necessary information to be able to obtain the experience and time to qualify for the MSHA Part 48 and OSHA 1926 instructor’s cards.
In Addition, obtain instructors card for First Aid/CPR/AED and Rigging instructor, Master Rigger, & Rigging Inspector.
Be able to participate in training classes as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) under the supervision of an OSHA/MSHA approved instructor until such instructor credentials are obtained.
Position Requirements
- To do the follow-up on a continual basis of required third party compliance and address status changes that disqualify the company from doing business.
- Expected to participate in the safety training sessions and present on a growing number of topics as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) under the guidance of the Safety Director or other instructor with the appropriate credentials.
– Travel (50% to 75%) to participate in pre-job Client Meetings, Job site Audits, Rigging and Trailer equipment inspections.
– Be a resource to the company on all matters related to safety and applications as applied to our operations.
– Willing to assist and respond to internal or external customer needs 24/7.
Other Benefits
$50 dollars pr. day per diem and under 100 for everyday traveled
