Litigation Attorney – Remote (California License Required)
gpac, a 30+ year recruitment partner, is working with a well-established California firm that is looking to bring on a strong Litigation Attorney. This is a solid opportunity for someone who wants to grow their practice and join a team that handles a steady mix of civil litigation matters.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Handle civil litigation matters from intake through resolution, including trials, hearings, and depositions

  • Conduct legal research and develop strategies tailored to each case

  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and related documents

  • Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses to move cases forward

  • Advise clients on legal options, risks, and next steps

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and rules

  • Ability to break down complex legal issues and develop practical strategies

  • Reliable communication skills—both written and verbal

  • Strong organizational habits and the ability to manage multiple matters

  • Comfortable using legal research tools and technology

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Active California Bar license

  • 2–5 years of civil litigation experience

  • Demonstrated ability to handle cases with a high degree of professionalism

  • Works well independently and within a team structure
