Litigation Attorney – Remote (California License Required)
gpac, a 30+ year recruitment partner, is working with a well-established California firm that is looking to bring on a strong Litigation Attorney. This is a solid opportunity for someone who wants to grow their practice and join a team that handles a steady mix of civil litigation matters.
Position Responsibilities:
Handle civil litigation matters from intake through resolution, including trials, hearings, and depositions
Conduct legal research and develop strategies tailored to each case
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and related documents
Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses to move cases forward
Advise clients on legal options, risks, and next steps
Essential Skills:
Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and rules
Ability to break down complex legal issues and develop practical strategies
Reliable communication skills—both written and verbal
Strong organizational habits and the ability to manage multiple matters
Comfortable using legal research tools and technology
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active California Bar license
2–5 years of civil litigation experience
Demonstrated ability to handle cases with a high degree of professionalism
Works well independently and within a team structure
