Remote HOA / Community Association Attorney – Fort Lauderdale, FL
A long-standing Florida law firm is seeking an experienced HOA / Community Association Attorney to join its growing practice. This remote role is ideal for an attorney with at least four years of hands-on experience representing condominium and HOA associations across governance, compliance, and general counsel matters. You’ll handle a steady flow of association work, collaborate with boards and property managers, and support clients on both transactional and covenant-enforcement issues.
Key Practice Areas:
• Condominium & HOA Law
• Covenant Enforcement & Compliance
• Governing Document Drafting, Amendments, & Interpretation
• Collections, Lien Foreclosures & Demand Letters
• Board Advisory & Annual Meeting Support
• General Real Estate & Related Litigation (as needed)
Responsibilities:
• Advise HOA and condo association clients regarding statutory compliance under Chapters 718 & 720, Florida Statutes
• Draft, amend, and interpret governing documents, rules, and corporate records
• Handle enforcement actions, violation disputes, and collection matters
• Attend board meetings, annual meetings, and provide ongoing general counsel
• Support clients with real property issues including contracts, maintenance obligations, and vendor disputes
• Manage cases, maintain client communication, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings when necessary
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of HOA / Condo / Community Association law experience required
• Florida Bar license in good standing
• Strong understanding of Chapters 718 & 720, Florida Statutes
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a large volume of matters with accuracy and attention to detail
• Professional, organized, and confident working directly with boards and property managers
