What you will be doing as an Master Planner and Scheduler.
Position Summary:
This position is focused on managing, coordinating, planning, scheduling and supervising products throughout their production process as well as coordination of the efficient repair of components and equipment to satisfy customer demand. Analyzes and revises production plans and provides appropriate delivery dates as required. Analyzes and reports on actual customer demand, trends and forecasts, and adjusts capacity plans accordingly. Synchronize supply with demand to reduce inventories. Provide company-wide visibility to resource capacity. The Master Planner, establish meeting objectives, schedule meetings, budget expenses, inspect meeting sites, negotiate with suppliers, and create a speaker lineup.

- Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize considerable and complex data.
- Strong PC skills (Excel, PP, Word, Access, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills so as to be able to pass the necessary information to both customers and employees.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate respectfully, cordially, and freely with people (customers, employees, and vendors inclusive).
- Leadership abilities, motivate other employees, good reasoning and problem-solving abilities
- Be able to work with little or no supervision.
- The ability to work as a ‘link person’ or middle person amongst customers, employees, and vendors.
- Must have good time management ability so as to be able to meet up with orders and schedules.
- Must be able to make use of different data base programs especially Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication with employees and report unsafe conditions timely manner.
- Improve operations, streamline work processes, work cooperatively to provide seamless costumer services.
Responsibilities:
- Create daily production schedules, based on the product mix and provide accurate commitment dates.
- Ensure that all relevant staff members receive the production schedule. Supervise staff members to ensure that deadlines are met. Check the quality of products to ensure that they meet client expectations.
- Ensure that all the different processes and schedules being set by an organization are followed judiciously so as to attain great efficiency.
- Work closely with PM, Customers and vendors so as to make sure that the company’s supply needs are adequately met in a timely manner.
- Perform various functions in ensuring that work being done is performed in a particular order so as to attain efficiency, and to also make sure that whatever product being rendered meets or surpasses a particular standard and/or required level.
- Rectify and/or reconcile differences and inaccuracies that have to do with shipment and deliveries to customers.
- Ensure that every employee involved in the production process has a clear understanding of what is required to meet the order and needs of customers.
- Track and maintain the forecast through timely and accurate feedback.
- Provide input to finance on operating plans for the sales and operations planning process, concerning incoming volume and capacity
- Identify current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand.
- Analyze production floor status through input/output control reporting.
- Coordinate information with other functional staff, including Project Manager, Engineering, Accounting, Plant and Human Resources.
- Determine available capacity before planned orders are released.
- Engage in capacity management during sales and operations planning, master scheduling, materials requirements planning, and production activity control.
