Insurance Defense Attorney – Personal Injury, Professional Liability & Construction Litigation

Location: Coral Gables

Position Type: Full-Time | Insurance Defense Litigation

We are seeking an experienced insurance defense attorney with at least 3 years of litigation experience in personal injury, professional liability, or construction litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters while collaborating with a dynamic and experienced legal team. The ideal candidate will be a Florida-licensed attorney with some litigation skills and a commitment to client advocacy. We are dedicated to fostering the success and professional growth of our attorneys through comprehensive training, mentorship, and meaningful client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in personal injury, professional liability, and construction litigation matters.
• Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including case strategy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Provide legal counsel to insurers, businesses, and professionals in personal injury, professional liability, and construction-related claims.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs, related to personal injury, professional liability, and construction disputes.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and courtroom proceedings while effectively managing a caseload.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in the Florida Bar.
• Minimum 3 years of litigation experience in personal injury, professional liability, or construction litigation.
• Some litigation knowledge, legal research, and drafting skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
