 Family Law Attorney – All Experience Levels (Hybrid/Remote Potential)

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid with potential for fully remote work down the road)

Key Responsibilities

As a Family Law Attorney, you will manage all aspects of family law cases, providing compassionate and effective advocacy for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling a diverse caseload including divorce, child custody and support, spousal support (alimony), property division, domestic violence protection orders, adoptions, and pre/post-nuptial agreements.
  • Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and comprehensive settlement agreements.
  • Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Maintaining a minimum of 1,600 annual billable hours while effectively managing time and client expectations.
  • Providing clear, empathetic, and strategic legal counsel to clients during emotionally challenging times.
  • Collaborating with partners, associates, and support staff to ensure efficient case progression.

What We Are Looking For

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong academic background in Family Law is required.
  • A commitment to maintaining a minimum of 1,600 billable hours per year.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and professionalism when dealing with sensitive and confidential client matters.
