Civil Engineer – Land Development Projects

Location: Nashville, TN

Compensation: $80,000 – $105,000

Are you a skilled Civil Engineer with a passion for land development and the ambition to take on more responsibility, more visibility, and more influence?

A well-established and respected engineering and planning firm in Nashville is seeking a Civil Engineer to help lead site development projects across the commercial, residential, and public sectors. You'll work on high-profile projects, gain direct client exposure, and grow your career in a collaborative and future-focused environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and manage grading, drainage, utility, stormwater, and roadway plans

  • Prepare construction documents, technical reports, and permitting packages

  • Coordinate with surveyors, planners, architects, and regulatory agencies

  • Collaborate closely with project managers and clients across Middle Tennessee

  • Mentor junior staff and help foster a culture of quality, learning, and teamwork

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • 3–8 years of experience in site/civil land development

  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, stormwater design, and applicable local codes

  • EIT certification required; PE license preferred (or actively in progress)

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • A proactive, team-first mindset and desire to contribute at a high level
