A well-established ag organization in Iowa is seeking an Grain Superintendent to oversee daily grain handling operations. This role is responsible for receiving, grading, blending, and loading grain, as well as maintaining equipment and facility cleanliness. Ideal for candidates with experience in grain or ag operations who are detail-oriented and ready to lead by example.
Grain Superintendent Key Responsibilities:
Oversee grain receiving, binning, and loadout to meet quality specs
Monitor grain inventory and condition; maintain weekly reports
Perform preventative maintenance and maintain clean, safe work areas
Coordinate grain movement with other sites and processors
Support OSHA compliance and conduct regular facility inspections
Promote a strong customer service culture and assist producers at the elevator
Grain Superintendent Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; grain/ag operations experience preferred
Valid driver’s license; clean driving record; willingness to obtain CDL
Willing to obtain Custom Applicator’s License
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
Must be able to work longer hours during busy seasons
