About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Sign Installer to join a growing team focused on high-quality commercial signage projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a strong background in sign installation, electrical wiring, and structural work, who takes pride in safe, precise installations.
You’ll be working on a variety of projects including exterior signage, illuminated signs, and large-format installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install commercial signage including channel letters, monument signs, pole signs, and LED systems
- Perform electrical wiring and connections for illuminated signage
- Execute on-site welding and structural mounting
- Operate bucket trucks, lifts, and other installation equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and schematics
- Ensure all work meets local codes and safety standards
- Conduct service and repair work as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of sign installation experience
- Strong experience with:
- Electrical wiring (low/high voltage signage)
- Welding and fabrication
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Certifications
- RI Sign Installer License (highly preferred)
- Electrical License
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- CDL (nice to have, not required)
