Exciting Opportunity for Plaintiff OR Defense Employment Class Action Attorneys!

We are seeking a motivated employment attorney to join our team and advocate for employees in complex workplace disputes. Our ideal candidate comes from the defense side of employment class actions and is eager to transition into plaintiff-side representation OR existing experience in plaintiff class actions, PAGA, and wage and hour litigation. In this position, you will handle complex class action cases involving wage and hour violations and PAGA claims. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and litigate complex wage and hour and PAGA class actions from inception to resolution.
  • Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, draft motions, and oversee discovery.
  • Take and defend depositions, including plaintiff, class member, and expert depositions.
  • Represent clients in mediations, court hearings, and, when necessary, trials.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and class action certification strategies.

 Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership.
  • 5+ Experience in class action employment litigation, wage and hour law, and PAGA cases.
  • Prior Plaintiff OR defense-side experience in class actions, wage and hour, or PAGA is strongly—we welcome attorneys looking to transition to plaintiff-side advocacy.
  • Strong litigation skills, including motion practice, depositions, and oral advocacy.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
