Senior Project Manager – Residential Construction

A well-established residential construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple high-value residential construction projects. This role is ideal for a construction leader with a strong track record of managing complex projects, leading teams, and delivering exceptional quality homes on schedule and within budget.

The Senior Project Manager will play a critical leadership role by guiding project teams, coordinating with executives, and ensuring the successful execution of residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee multiple residential construction projects from planning through completion
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance
  • Supervise and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field teams
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, building codes, and safety requirements
  • Monitor project risks and proactively resolve issues affecting timelines or costs
  • Provide leadership during project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Maintain communication with executives, clients, and project teams
  • Track project performance and prepare progress reports

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in residential construction project management
  • Proven experience managing large or complex residential construction projects
  • Strong leadership experience managing project teams and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Deep understanding of construction processes, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage project budgets and financial reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $115,000 – $160,000 per year
