Assistant Project Manager – Residential Construction

A growing residential construction company is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of residential building projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in construction management while working alongside experienced Project Managers and field teams.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and eager to gain hands-on experience managing residential construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning and executing residential construction projects
• Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects stay on track
• Monitor construction progress and assist with quality control
• Track project timelines, budgets, and documentation
• Support communication between project teams, subcontractors, and leadership
• Assist with project reporting, change orders, and job documentation
• Help ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations
• Attend job site meetings and assist with project updates and reporting

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination preferred
• Knowledge of residential construction processes is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and support multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive compensation, range $59,000 – $96,000
