Senior Project Manager / Estimator – Sitework Construction
Salary: Up to $150,000 base + bonus, company vehicle, benefits
We are a growing, fast-paced sitework construction company specializing in commercial and industrial projects. From large-scale grading and earthwork to complex utility installations, our projects shape communities and infrastructure across the region. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager / Estimator to join our team immediately. As a Senior Project Manager / Estimator, you will lead projects from estimating through completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while assisting with estimating future sitework projects. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple high-profile projects simultaneously. This role blends leadership, technical expertise, and business development skills.
Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution for commercial and industrial sitework projects
Assist in preparing accurate estimates using Agtek for grading, excavation, utilities, and related sitework scopes
Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and resource allocation
Oversee subcontractors and field crews to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance
Serve as the primary client contact for project updates, scope changes, and problem resolution
Coordinate with engineering, design, and estimating teams to ensure project success
Review plans, proposals, and specifications to identify risks, opportunities, and constructability issues
Mentor junior project managers and team members on best practices in estimating and project execution
7+ years of experience in project management and/or estimating for sitework construction preferred; exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered
Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, utilities, paving, and other sitework operations
Experience with Agtek or similar civil estimating software is highly desirable
Proven track record of managing commercial or industrial sitework projects
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Confident, proactive, and able to make critical decisions under pressure
Ability to travel to job sites as required
Base salary up to $150,000, commensurate with experience
