Site Development Project Engineer – Civil Design 📍 Albany, NY 💰 $70,000 – $95,000 🕒 Full-Time | Growth-Focused | Hybrid Flexibility

Are you a Civil Engineer ready to step into a role that blends technical precision, creative problem-solving, and community impact? We’re seeking a Site Development Project Engineer to support and lead land development projects across upstate New York and beyond.

You’ll work on high-visibility residential, commercial, and institutional developments with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team—bringing ideas to life from concept through construction.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design and coordinate site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and roadway plans for land development projects

  • Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and detailed engineering drawings

  • Collaborate with planners, architects, and environmental professionals to deliver well-rounded solutions

  • Participate in client meetings, agency reviews, and project presentations

  • Support junior team members and help maintain project schedules and budgets

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • 2–6 years of land development experience (residential, commercial, or institutional)

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Working knowledge of local and state permitting and design regulations

  • EIT certification preferred; PE track strongly encouraged

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
