Plumbing Estimator
Role Overview We’re looking for a Plumbing Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing project plans, preparing accurate cost estimates, and working closely with project managers, vendors, and clients to deliver competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
Review drawings and specifications to prepare detailed plumbing estimates.
Complete material, labor, and equipment take-offs.
Gather and evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotes.
Develop bid proposals and budgets.
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
Support the project team with scope reviews once projects are awarded.
Qualifications
3+ years of plumbing estimating experience in mechanical contracting or construction.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and codes.
Proficiency with estimating software (FastPIPE, Trimble, etc.), Bluebeam, and MS Office.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specs.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred
Experience with design-build and plan/spec projects.
Familiarity with BIM, AutoCAD, or Revit.
Journeyman plumber license or field background.
