Operations Assistant – Steel Detailing

Location: Houston, TX

With an emphasis on structural and miscellaneous steel projects, we aim to maintain strong relationships and a streamlined workflow throughout our operations.

Job Description: We are seeking an Operations Assistant to support the Operations Manager in managing day-to-day activities across all aspects of the business. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the operations from the ground up, with the potential for career growth with one of the core pieces of a highly successful operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with RFIs, change orders, project scheduling, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate with the detailing team and ensuring timely delivery.
• Help with logistics and managing the supply chain to meet project deadlines.
• Work with shop drawings and collaborate with the Detailers and Checkers to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee day-to-day project activities and assist in troubleshooting issues.
• Maintain and update project management tools and systems. Primarily email communication.

Hours: 8:00-5:00 or 8:30-5:00 | Monday through Friday
