Commercial / Industrial HVAC Project Manager

A well-established, regionally recognized mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial/Industrial HVAC Project Manager to lead large-scale projects across diverse markets.

This organization delivers full lifecycle mechanical solutions—including HVAC, plumbing, building automation/controls, engineering, and prefabrication. Their portfolio spans healthcare, education, mission-critical environments, high-rise commercial, and industrial facilities.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role combines leadership, financial management, and technical coordination, working closely with internal engineering, fabrication teams, and field operations.

Projects range from commercial buildings to large-scale manufacturing facilities, warehouses, cold storage, distribution centers, and hospitality developments—valued up to $10M+.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and closeout
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost controls
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in commercial mechanical project management
• Proven success managing large, complex HVAC and plumbing projects
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling and financial tracking
• Experience with project management and estimating software
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
