Senior Quality Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role ensures products consistently meet internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements while driving a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, customer certifications, and flow-down requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing tools and waste reduction methodologies
Conduct and support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and process validation activities
Utilize statistical methods including SPC, MSA, Cp/Cpk, and capability studies to monitor and improve process performance
Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to ensure product conformity
Support internal and external audits, regulatory compliance efforts, and supplier quality initiatives
Identify, research, design, and implement process improvements, new technologies, and manufacturing methods to enhance capacity, quality, and efficiency
Lead value stream improvement efforts and champion 5S activities
Provide mentorship, training, and informal leadership to cross-functional teams
Generate and maintain technical documentation, quality reports, work instructions, and process documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and/or 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering or related role
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
Strong knowledge of Quality Systems, ISO standards, Lean, Six Sigma, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Experience with audits, compliance, corrective actions, and process validation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Windows-based systems
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead by example
This is a day shift position with occasional requirements for off-shift support, audits, training, or travel (including overnight stays). The role collaborates with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure operational excellence and sustained quality performance.
