Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role ensures products consistently meet internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements while driving a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, customer certifications, and flow-down requirements

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing tools and waste reduction methodologies

• Conduct and support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and process validation activities

• Utilize statistical methods including SPC, MSA, Cp/Cpk, and capability studies to monitor and improve process performance

• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to ensure product conformity

• Support internal and external audits, regulatory compliance efforts, and supplier quality initiatives

• Identify, research, design, and implement process improvements, new technologies, and manufacturing methods to enhance capacity, quality, and efficiency

• Lead value stream improvement efforts and champion 5S activities

• Provide mentorship, training, and informal leadership to cross-functional teams

• Generate and maintain technical documentation, quality reports, work instructions, and process documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and/or 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering or related role

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred

• Strong knowledge of Quality Systems, ISO standards, Lean, Six Sigma, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

• Experience with audits, compliance, corrective actions, and process validation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Windows-based systems

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead by example

This is a day shift position with occasional requirements for off-shift support, audits, training, or travel (including overnight stays). The role collaborates with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure operational excellence and sustained quality performance.
