Maintenance Manager
A long-standing, stable industrial manufacturer with over a century of success is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and continuously improve plant maintenance operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving reliability, safety, and operational excellence across a large, high-output manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead and oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance teams, providing clear direction, coaching, and long-term vision
Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime and efficiency
Plan and execute major maintenance activities, shutdowns, and improvement projects while minimizing downtime
Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and external contractors to ensure cost-effective results
Champion reliability initiatives, continuous improvement, and best maintenance practices
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and applicable labor agreements
Support plant operations through strong collaboration, technical expertise, and problem-solving leadership
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
Proven experience leading maintenance teams and managing projects
Strong knowledge of large rotating equipment and maintenance best practices
Experience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
A safety-first mindset with strong communication and leadership skills
