Road Project Manager (PE) – Transportation Projects
We’re seeking an experienced Road Project Manager (PE) who wants real ownership of transportation projects—not just another role managing tasks.
In this position, you will lead roadway projects from notice to proceed through construction, guide design teams, and work directly with clients on roadway improvements.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys leading projects, mentoring younger engineers, and influencing design decisions that shape real infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
Lead Federal Aid, and local roadway design projects
Define scope, schedule, and budgets
Mentor engineers and CAD designers
Review design calculations, plans, and technical documents
Coordinate with subconsultants and internal teams
Meet with clients to develop solutions and build relationships
Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering
4+ years roadway design experience
2+ years project management experience
PE (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Work Environment
Flexible remote and office collaboration, with occasional travel within Indiana for meetings or site visits.
