Project Engineer – Structural Steel (Traveling)
We’re looking for an ambitious Project Engineer with structural steel experience to join a leading structural steel erector based on the West Coast. With active projects in Arizona, this role offers the chance to travel, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to some of the region’s most exciting and recognizable structures. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow in the steel erection industry and develop into a future leader.
What You’ll Do:
Support project managers and field teams on structural steel erection projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with detailing, fabrication, and erection crews to keep work on track.
Assist with scheduling, RFIs, and progress reporting.
Provide technical support and help resolve issues in the field.
Travel to Arizona project sites to work closely with clients, contractors, and crews.
What You Bring:
Experience with structural steel erection.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Clear communication skills for working with engineers, contractors, and field teams.
Ambition to grow into larger roles within the company.
Travel to project sites in Arizona

Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 DOE
