Commercial Door Technician
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Commercial Door Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing commercial overhead doors, roll-up doors, operators, and related equipment.
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
What You’ll Do:
Install, service, and repair commercial doors, rolling steel doors, fire doors, and related hardware.
Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments.
Read and follow technical drawings and work orders.
Safely use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
Communicate clearly with customers about work performed and safety needs.
Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used.
Follow company safety procedures, OSHA rules, and manufacturer guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience with commercial door installation or repair (preferred).
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willing to work overtime or emergency calls when needed.
Physically able to lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights.
Welding, electrical, or construction experience is a plus.
