Senior Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)

We’re looking for a high-level Professional Land Surveyor who wants the freedom to lead projects, mentor teams, and produce exceptional work.

Our firm brings 70+ years of combined surveying expertise and operates on a simple principle: great professionals perform best when they’re trusted to lead, not micromanaged. You’ll oversee a wide range of surveys while guiding field crews and technical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, right-of-way, and construction layout surveys

• Perform boundary analysis, deed research, and title interpretation

• Prepare and seal plats, legal descriptions, and survey documents

• Supervise survey crews and CAD technicians

• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, architects, and agencies

• Utilize modern equipment including GPS and robotic total stations

Qualifications

• PLS license in Indiana and Michigan (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

• 5+ years of progressive surveying experience

• Experience with Carlson, AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS

• Strong knowledge of GPS and conventional survey methods

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
