Job Description

A well-established flour milling operation in Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated Flour Miller to join their production team. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring flour milling equipment, ensuring consistent product quality, and supporting the overall efficiency and safety of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the flour mill and all related machinery, motors, and support equipment

  • Perform routine maintenance and assist with scheduled shutdowns (greasing, oil changes, replacing chains, pulleys, belts, etc.)

  • Conduct overhead cleaning and general upkeep of milling areas

  • Occasionally load sacked flour trucks and ensure proper sanitation and inspection of trailers

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies

  • Support other departments as needed to meet production demands

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 1–3 years of experience in milling, grain processing, or a related food production environment preferred

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Basic math and measurement skills

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required

  • Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a production environment
