Seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems and process control equipment. This role involves working with SCADA systems, PLCs, HMIs, and a variety of electrical and instrumentation systems used in municipal or industrial water treatment environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, motor control centers, motor drives, lighting systems, circuits, and emergency power systems.
Perform programming, maintenance, and updates on SCADA computer systems and related hardware.
Maintain and calibrate Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Conduct complex calibrations and programming for PID controllers and chemical feed systems.
Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on process control and monitoring equipment.
Install, wire, and commission instrumentation for machine control, process control, telemetry, and analytical systems.
Support the long-range planning and upgrades of SCADA and HMI systems.
Plan, layout, and install conduit and wiring for electrical and control systems.
Prepare requisitions for parts, equipment, and contracted services.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
Strong working knowledge of SCADA, PLC programming, and industrial instrumentation.
Experience in utility, water treatment, or industrial facility environments is highly desirable.
