This position supports attorneys handling estate disputes and probate litigation. The role demands strong organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a deep understanding of probate procedure and court rules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage probate and estate litigation dockets from intake through resolution
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions for contested matters
• Prepare court filings, hearing exhibits, and trial binders
• Assist with calendaring deadlines, coordinating hearings, and managing communication with courts and clients
• Handle sensitive matters with discretion, empathy, and precision
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• 5+ years of experience as a probate paralegal with a litigation background
• Strong knowledge of Tennessee probate procedures and litigation processes
• Excellent written communication and drafting skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-first mindset
• Highly organized, professional, and responsive under pressure
