Join Our Established Team as a Dental Hygienist
Our esteemed client is seeking to welcome a skilled Dental Hygienist to their already thriving team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Perform a range of dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, scaling, root planing (SRP), and adjunctive treatments as needed.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health, including brushing, flossing, plaque control, nutrition, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with the Dental Team: Work closely with the dentist and other team members to assess patient needs and ensure they receive the best care possible. Assist with the development of individualized treatment plans.
- Patient Comfort & Communication: Ensure that patients are comfortable throughout their appointments and address any concerns they may have. Build strong relationships with patients and encourage good oral hygiene habits.
- Maintain Clinical Documentation: Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all treatments, procedures, and patient interactions.
- Infection Control & Safety: Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Manage Patient Flow: Effectively manage a productive schedule of 8-12 patients per day, ensuring high-quality care while maintaining efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Education & Licensure: A degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state dental hygiene license.
- Experience: Previous experience in dental hygiene is preferred, but newly graduated hygienists are encouraged to apply.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a service-oriented, compassionate approach to patient care.
- Professionalism & Commitment: A strong commitment to maintaining a high standard of care, lifelong learning, and staying current with best practices in dental hygiene.
- Team Player: Ability to work well with other dental professionals in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Patient Focused: Dedication to providing patient-centered care and ensuring a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.
