A growing heavy civil contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across Colorado. The team specializes in road construction, utility installation, and site development. We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our Castle Rock-based team.

Position Summary: The Project Manager will oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of heavy civil construction projects, including roads, highways, and utility infrastructure. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field crews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout

  • Oversee road, highway, and utility infrastructure projects

  • Coordinate with engineers, owners, municipalities, and field teams

  • Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules

  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews

  • Monitor job progress, quality, and safety compliance

  • Prepare and review project documentation and reports

  • Support estimating and bid preparation when needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in heavy civil construction

  • Proven experience with road, highway, and utility infrastructure projects

  • Proficient in project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Local to the Castle Rock, CO area or willing to relocate

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience with HCSS HeavyBid and HeavyJob

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
