🚨 Litigation Paralegal Opportunity | Pittsburgh, PA 🚨

We’re seeking a Litigation Paralegal (3–5 years’ experience) to support a busy and highly specialized ERISA / employer benefits litigation practice in Pittsburgh. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in billable work, complex case preparation, and high-detail litigation support.

This position works closely with attorneys representing clients in the trade and construction industries, focusing on employer benefit plan disputes and ERISA-related litigation.

🔎 What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting attorneys on ERISA and employer benefit plan matters
• Assisting with trial preparation and litigation case management
• Handling billable paralegal tasks across active litigation files
• Organizing and managing complex case materials and discovery

📌 Strongly preferred experience:
• ERISA / withdrawal liability exposure
• Employer benefit plan litigation
• Trial preparation support (highly valued)
• Trial Director and Relativity software experience
• iManage document management system experience

⚖️ Key subject matter areas you may support:
• Building & construction industry exemption matters
• Withdrawal liability avoidance / evasion transactions
• Successor, alter ego, and single-employer liability
• Partial withdrawals (including 70% declines, bargaining outs, facility takeouts)
• Withdrawal liability calculations
• Controlled group liability issues
• ERISA vs. Bankruptcy Code interplay
• “Pay now, dispute later” enforcement actions
• Laches and delinquent contribution recovery from active employers
