Seeking Service Coordinator with a solid technical foundation to manage incoming service requests and coordinate critical repair activities. The ideal candidate will hold an engineering degree (Associates or Bachelors) and bring at least 3+ years of experience supporting municipal water/wastewater treatment systems or the oil and gas industry in a technical service coordination role.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for incoming customer service requests, ensuring accurate intake and documentation.
Evaluate service needs, verify technical details, and communicate requirements effectively to customers and internal teams.
Coordinate and schedule field service dispatches in alignment with Service Management priorities.
Support parts identification, sourcing, and tracking to minimize downtime and ensure timely service completion.
Partner with Service Technicians and Managers to plan repairs, coordinate manufacturer services, and manage part returns.
Maintain detailed service records, process reports, and prepare jobs for billing.
Track repair progress, provide consistent status updates, and escalate technical issues when needed.
Ensure customer follow-up after service completion to confirm satisfaction and identify additional needs.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related).
3+ years of experience in a technical service coordination role within municipal water/wastewater treatment or oil & gas.
Strong understanding of service dispatch, scheduling, and technical workflows.
Ability to interpret service documentation and communicate technical requirements clearly.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
