I'm working with a respected surgical practice in San Francisco that's looking to fill an Operating Physician Assistant role right away. They want 3+ years in gender, plastic, or general surgery, and the right personality fit matters.
What you'll do:
- Pre-op care: patient assessments, medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, patient education, and preparing the surgical team
- Intra-op assistance: handling instruments, assisting with suturing, cauterization, and other techniques, and monitoring vital signs
- Post-op care: closing incisions, managing wounds, monitoring recovery, patient education, and follow-up visits
- Develop and implement treatment plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families
What you'll bring:
- 3+ years of experience in gender, plastic, or general surgery
- PANCE, NBSTSA, or NCCSA certification
- California state license
