We are currently looking for a dynamic Physician Assistant for a dynamic and respected practice.
Physician Assistant Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Perform various medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of a physician
- Educate patients and their families on the nature of their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient
Physician Assistant Essential Job Functions:
- Provide direct patient care within your scope of practice and under the supervision of a physician
- Assist in surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative care
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and other medical treatments as prescribed
- Conduct patient follow-ups to evaluate treatment effectiveness and address any concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Physician Assistant Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferably with experience in orthopedic or wound care setting
- Strong knowledge of medical principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
