Job Description

A Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with an emphasis on insurance defense for large corporations

Responsibilities:

1. Defending Claims: Handle lawsuits related to product liability, workplace accidents, premises liability, and more, working to minimize the company’s exposure.

2. Insurance Coverage Analysis: Review insurance policies, assess coverage, and coordinate with insurers to determine policy application in claims.

3. Litigation and Risk Management: Manage litigation, settlements, and provide legal advice on risk mitigation to prevent future lawsuits.

4. Collaboration with Counsel: Work with counsel of corporations to develop defense strategies and manage claims.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Washington Bar
• Experience in civil litigation and insurance law, particularly with corporate clients.
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
• Ability to analyze insurance coverage, liability risks, and coordinate with insurance providers.
• Effective negotiation and settlement skills.
