Fully Remote Litigation Associate: Insurance Defense Experience, Practice From Anywhere in California

Our client, a well-established and growing firm, has a fully remote opening for a Litigation Associate anywhere in California. The ideal candidate has 1 to 3 years of insurance defense experience and is ready to take on meaningful, hands-on litigation responsibility.

This role offers the freedom of remote work without sacrificing case ownership, mentorship, or professional growth.

What You'll Do

• Handle insurance defense and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs in California state and federal court
• Take and defend depositions and appear at hearings and mediations
• Prepare case evaluations and status reports for clients and insurance carriers
• Manage cases independently while collaborating with a supportive team

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 1 to 3 years of insurance defense experience preferred
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must reside in California
