Job Description

A structural steel fabricator in the Covington, KY market is looking for a Quality Control Manager to own the shop QC program end to end.

Core duties:

• Ensure compliance with AWS D1.1/D1.5, AISC certification, and project specs
• Perform and oversee weld inspection and NDT
• Run inspection plans, documentation, and NCR/corrective action
• Coordinate with production, project managers, steel erectors, and third-party inspectors

Qualifications:

• 8+ years in steel fabrication QC
• CWI certification
• UT Level II preferred
