Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as an Assisted Living Nurse Supervisor. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing resident care, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality clinical services in a supportive assisted living environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, leadership ability, and a passion for delivering resident-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the direct care of assisted living residents
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans
  • Conduct routine clinical assessments and monitor residents’ health status
  • Administer medications and ensure compliance with provider orders
  • Serve as the primary nursing contact for physicians, families, staff, and external partners
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices and improve care delivery
  • Provide staff training, supervision, and competency validation
  • Assist with staffing needs, including shift coverage and on-call responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical and staff documentation
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding care updates
  • Ensure adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Education/Training:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, and motivate staff
  • Ability to analyze data and support decision-making processes
  • Experience developing policies, procedures, and care plans
  • Strong organizational, planning, and delegation skills
  • Conflict resolution, team-building, and active listening abilities
  • Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare documentation

Work Environment & Expectations

  • Scheduled on-call rotation required
  • Ability to respond to resident care needs and staff questions as needed
  • Participation in staff meetings, training, and quality initiatives
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and staff
