Job Description

We are seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join our team in Chicago. This is an opportunity to work with a firm that has built its reputation on fighting for injured individuals and maximizing recovery in complex, high-stakes cases.

You will represent individuals who have suffered serious injuries due to negligence, handling cases from intake through resolution. You will work on a wide range of matters including:

• Motor vehicle and trucking accidents
• Slip and fall / premises liability
• Workplace and third-party injury claims
• Medical malpractice
• Product liability and complex injury cases

Our team works closely with medical experts, investigators, and accident reconstruction professionals to build strong, evidence-driven cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from pre-suit through litigation
• Conduct case investigations, develop liability theories, and assess damages
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Work with expert witnesses and prepare cases for trial
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
• Provide clear, consistent communication to clients throughout the case lifecycle

Ideal Fit

• Licensed to practice in IL.
• Minimum 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience (litigation experience preferred)
• Understanding of negligence, liability, and damages analysis
• Experience handling cases involving significant injuries and exposure
• Confident negotiator with the ability to push cases toward favorable resolution
• Trial experience or strong interest in trial work
• Ability to manage a high-volume docket without sacrificing quality
