Estate Planning & Probate Attorney – Ponte Vedra, FL

A highly respected Ponte Vedra law firm is seeking an experienced Estate Planning & Probate Attorney to join their growing, high-end private client practice. The firm works extensively with high-net-worth individuals and families, offering sophisticated estate planning, tax strategies, and probate/trust administration services.

This role is ideal for an attorney with strong technical skills who can operate independently, manage complex matters, and confidently work with demanding clients. A partial portable book or referral network is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities
• Handle a wide range of estate planning and probate matters for high-net-worth clients
• Draft complex estate planning documents, including advanced trusts, wills, and tax-efficient structures
• Manage probate and trust administration files with limited supervision
• Advise clients on complex tax issues, including 706s, 709s, and related filings
• Support active client transitions (several partners are preparing for retirement)
• Collaborate with partners while continuing to build your own referral base

Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of estate planning and probate experience
• Experience working with high-net-worth clients (typically $10M+ estates; associates may handle slightly lower tiers)
• Strong understanding of complex legal and tax concepts
• Florida Bar admission required
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal hand-holding
• Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
• Professional, client-centered communication
