JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Insurance Customer Service Representative

A local agency needs an experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative. Must have a strong work ethic, a drive to succeed and a "can do" attitude. This is a fun company to work for, flexible time and a great compensation package.

Duties will include:

• Working with primarily commercial and/or personal lines
• Accurately input policy updates and account information
• Communicate with client, producer, and carrier underwriters regarding policy and coverage related questions and information.
• Identify, compile, and manage information regarding account renewals
• Consistent and timely communication with agency clients and carrier representatives.

Qualifications:

• Property & Casualty Insurance license preferred, not required
• Minimum 1-3 years independent agency or retail broker experience
• Technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage & rating
• Experience with various carriers and working directly with their underwriters preferred, not required
• Experience utilizing online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems
• Applied (TAM or EPIC) or AMS360 software experience preferred, not required
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
