Associate Attorney – Wage & Hour Class Action - San Diego, CA

A well-established, highly regarded law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Employment Class Action team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with experience in wage and hour matters to take ownership of their own cases while collaborating with an experienced, client-focused litigation team.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Develop litigation strategies for wage and hour matters in state and federal courts
  • Represent clients in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to strengthen legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Manage a personal docket of cases while collaborating on team-wide litigation initiatives

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
  • 3+ years of employment litigation experience, ideally with wage and hour class actions
  • Strong analytical and legal research skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a solution-oriented mindset

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $140,000–$275,000 plus substantial performance-based incentives
